Leave the stilettos to Carrie Bradshaw
Just as millennials are increasingly dressing casually at work, they're also trying to avoid anything that might make them uncomfortable. While Carrie Bradshaw's stilettos were once the height of fashion among women of her time, today's millennials have thrown them out the window.
They now prefer comfortable shoes and prioritize practicality over fashion. Some shoe designers have noticed this and have started making formal shoes that are also comfortable enough for millennials to buy.

Sliced American cheese is not what's in these days
When you think of a young millennial on a tight budget, you might assume that sliced American cheese would be a staple in their diet. It's cheap and has enough preservatives to last forever. However, that's not the case. Millennials are turning away from classic sliced American cheese in favor of healthier, more diverse, and more expensive cheeses.
This is because many people are trying to eat fewer preservatives, or want to invite friends over and impress them with a good selection of charcuterie for a party. Sales from producers like Kraft and Velvita have been declining slowly but surely since 2014.
